This First Saturday night event is always fun, but it's something very special at this time of year, for when the night descends on Old Town, the streets and shop windows come vibrantly alive with lights, decorations and Christmas music.

Eureka Main Street welcomes you to visit with Santa Claus in historic Downtown and Old Town, Eureka. He will be roaming Downtown and Old Town with hourly appearances at the Gazebo at 2nd & F Streets. 12-3 pm & 6-9:00 pm
Between 6 pm and 9 pm, tourists and residents alike graze and sip their way along the waterfront, Old Town and Downtown sections of Eureka, where dozens of historic galleries and businesses showcase the works of highbrow and lowbrow artists alike.

Eureka Inn will be lighting up the Christmas Tree for Arts Alive
By one estimate, there are more artists in Humboldt County per capita than any other county in California. If you visit Eureka during Arts Alive, you should have an easy time counting them as well as their admirers. Free entertainment and refreshments at many venues.
