Humboldt County’s celebrated singer-songwriter Brett McFarland is kicking off his highly anticipated Straight Outta Humboldt Tour with a special hometown performance at the Arcata Theatre Lounge. Brett, along with his all-star band The Freedom Riders, returns to the Humboldt stage for the first time since releasing his acclaimed album, Humboldt, and a series of viral music videos.

Brett McFarland is renowned for his evocative storytelling and a musical style that blends folk, rock, and country. Deeply rooted in themes of environmentalism, community spirit, and resilience, Brett’s recent album, Humboldt, has resonated widely. His personal journey, including serving a five-year prison sentence for cannabis cultivation, has profoundly shaped his advocacy, music, and commitment to sustainable farming.
