Humboldt County's Local Blues Festival returns for its 20th year at Perigot Park in Blue Lake. The festival is dedicated to the memory of Richard Duggins (better known as Buddy Brown), who opened the festival its first year and passed away shortly after. 

The Buddy Brown Blues Festival is a showcase of local blues musicians. This year's lineup is:  

11:00am BACK SEAT DRIVERS

12:15pm MOJO ROCKERS

1:30pm BUDDY REED & THE RIP-IT-UPS

2:45pm JIM LAHMAN BAND

4;00pm THE UPTOWN KINGS

5:15pm BLACKSAGE RUNNERS

Gate opens at 10:30 A.M. and five acts perform hourly until 6:30 P.M.

For the safety of festival attendees, performers, and volunteers, proof of Covid vaccination or negative Covid test taken within 72 hours will be required for entry. Either bring your documentation or a photo of the documentation. The state Public Health Department also has an app to obtain a QR code for a digital record of your Covid vaccination: https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov/.
