Care for Our Shared Lands - California State Parks Week

California State Parks invites volunteers to Trinidad State Beach for a habitat restoration event focused on invasive species removal in the beautiful Sitka spruce forest. Please meet at the paved parking lot of Stagecoach Road in Trinidad. Removing invasive species is a moderate activity and participants are encouraged to wear sturdy shoes for walking off trail, bring a lopper if you have them, a hat, work gloves, and water. We have extra gloves and tools for volunteers. Work locations are less than a ½ mile hike from the trailhead. All participants will receive one free day use pass to Sue-meg State Park. All ages welcome. Lunch is provided at the end of the event. Registration is encouraged - see "Visit Website" link above.
