Forest Moon Festival - 40th Anniversary Celebration of Star Wars Trilogy

Calling fans of all ages to join us in a North Coast celebration of the Star Wars Universe--here on the Forest Moon of Endor, home of the Ewoks!  

Four free screenings of Return of the Jedi. Events throughout two counties.  Wear a costume and take photos with official Lucasfilm costumers from The Mandalorian Mercs!  Craft a saber, costume parades, rebel training obstacle courses, games, contests & prizes!  Special appearances of the Bay Area Droid Builders! WHAT IS THE FOREST MOON FESTIVAL?
The two-county wide festival will feature Film Commission sponsored events (i.e. free screenings of the movie, Return Of The Jedi) as well as activities by participating local businesses, pop-ups, community partners, and more.

WHY HERE?
40 years ago the world was introduced to the Forest Moon of Endor, as the final battleground in the original Star War’s Trilogy.  Our Coastal Redwoods set the scene as the location for those memorable battles between the Rebel Forces and the Imperial Empire. Since then, domestic and international tourists and fans have traveled to the North Coast of California to see the majestic home of the Ewoks.
