Ink People's "Night Masquerade"

The enchanting event will celebrate artist-conjured interpretations of night and will be filled with mystery. All proceeds will support arts and culture endeavors in the community.  Live painting, aerial dance, and a silent art auction will take place during the course of the evening, with dancing into the night.

**Masks are strongly encouraged and will add to the allure of the event...we will have some simple, creative masks available if you do not bring one! We will be hosting a mask workshop in September! Dates TBA!

Schedule of activities:
*7:00-9:00 Arrival and Mixer: Live art, silent art auction, ambient performances, tarot readings, photo booth, tapas
*9:00-10:00pm Silent auction closes. Special performances and costume catwalk (with prizes!).
*10:00pm-Midnight Music and dancing with ambient performances and photo booth continuing

This added donation will support special BIPOC-led projects, 2SLGBTQIA+ projects, and other projects that meet acute community need through a special grant program that will be available to these communities. *This option is a contribution directly to this fund. Please buy a separate ticket for the event!

The Ink People has a longstanding commitment to publicly presenting community engaged art through the Brenda Tuxford Gallery. Founded by Executive Director Emeritus Libby Maynard and Brenda Tuxford in 1982, the gallery is now co-located with the Humboldt County Visitors Bureau at 422 First Street and offers local artists the professional presentation and public exposure they deserve.
