Sharing Our Traditions - Elders' Honoring Ceremony
Saturday,
In keeping with the spirit of Thanksgiving and National American Indian Heritage Month, the Public is cordially invited to attend the Annual Northwest Intertribal Gathering & Elders Dinner.
The Gathering is a community event that provides us all with an opportunity to honor all Elders and Veterans. The Intertribal Gathering allows non-native people a glimpse at the depth and beauty of Native cultures while providing American Indians a chance to share and embrace their traditions. With November being Native American Heritage Month the event is a way for the community to learn from one another in the spirit of Thanksgiving.
Elders are served a free traditional dinner beginning at noon followed by an Elders’ Gifting Ceremony at 3 p.m.
Everyone is welcome - FREE admission
