Juneteenth Celebration

This year as Juneteenth falls on Wednesday June 19th we will be hosting 4 days of cultural festival activities leading up to our Saturday day festival at Halvorsen Park from 1pm-10pm. All events will be open to the community, FREE and will include events like open mics, visual art exhibitions, local artist showcases, a soul food dinner and MORE!! 

This holiday is one that is very important and empowering for Black and Brown communities all over the United States but especially for Humboldt County, as Black people currently only make up 2% of the population. Support the BIPOC community to create and maintain representation as an equal part of the Humboldt County community.
