After the success of last year's event, the Clarke Museum is hosting another classic Victorian Tea Party from 2-4pm on August 21st in the gardens of the Annie B Ryan House in Eureka. Catered by Brett Shuler Fine Catering, the tea party will feature tea sandwiches, scones, berries and mascarpone, sweets, and of course, lots of tasty teas.
Guests will be encouraged to dress up, and we’ll have a Selfie Station and fancy hat competition to create lasting memories (and fun social media posts). Scientific artist Josh Overington will be on hand doing sketches, and local artist Amy Fowler will be demonstrating her millinery skills. All of this will be accompanied by live music from local harpist Julia Sheppard.
Guests will also receive a ticket for an opportunity drawing for the chance to win some really fun door prizes, including a $100 gift card from Pierson’s, a shadow box created by Monica from the Art Center Frame Shop, and more. You’ll also be able to purchase more tickets if you’re feeling lucky. The cost for the event is $40 for individual tickets and $225 for a table of six. Tickets are limited so purchase yours now!
We are so excited that events are happening again. Event details are being updated as information becomes available. Before making plans, please check the event or festival website or Facebook page.
