Cooking facilities for large gatherings are available. The amphitheater, under a 1500-year-old giant redwood tree, is ideal for group entertainment. Dean Creek Resort is located 63 miles south of Eureka and three miles north of Garberville, just off of Hwy 101 at Exit #642. From northbound 101, take the Redwood Drive exit, three miles north of Garberville. From southbound 101 take the Redway / Shelter Cove exit. Dean Creek Resort is located just off the highway on the right hand side of the road.
