Lost Whale Bed & Breakfast Inn

"One of the ten most romantic inns in the country."

Situated on a bluff overlooking Abalone Cove and the Pacific Ocean, the Lost Whale Inn has been described by Sunset Magazine as "one of the ten most romantic inns in the country." A private trail leads to two miles of pristine and secluded beaches with tidepools, otters and a sea lion colony.

The rooms offer spectacular ocean and garden views, some with private balconies. There is a 24-hour hot tub that overlooks the ocean. Spa treatments are available in your room, or, weather permitting, on the decks and lawns at the Inn.

Breakfasts and afternoon wine receptions: our executive chefs have created a menu that will tempt every palate, using our own vegetables, fruits and berries.

There is a campfire for evening relaxation and the lawns offer secluded seating areas and croquet, boules and badmington in the summer months. The great room has lots of comfortable seating and game tables with puzzles, books and many games to play. Children are welcome.

Two-night minimum June 15 - September 15.  Weekends are normally a two-night stay except during our special "Two Tickets to Temptation" season when guests are welcome to just stay one night.
