Traffic Delays - Last Chance Grade:
If you are traveling north to Crescent City or south into Humboldt, expect 30-minute traffic delays on Hwy 101 south of Crescent City, Del Norte County. For updated information visit: https://lastchancegrade.com/schedule

Wildfires:
For public safety, the USDA Forest Service has announced the TEMPORARY CLOSURE of nine National Forests throughout California from August 30 through September 17.

Six Rivers National Forest in eastern Humboldt County has been closed.
These means no hiking or camping through Sept 17 anywhere in Six Rivers National Forest.

As of September 8th, the Knob Fire burning in the vicinity of Willow Creek is at 2,798 acres and 52 percent contained.
