Participants then return to the visitor center for refreshments. Donation of $10 per person or $12 per family for the walk is suggested.
Afterwards, for those interested, there will be a Dutch raffle and silent auction with items donated by local merchants, a fun way to get a head start on Christmas shopping while supporting your parks.
Dress warmly, wear sturdy shoes for the half-mile walk and bring a candle that is enclosed in a plastic cup(along with a flashlight for the walk back from the campfire.)
