Traffic Delays - Last Chance Grade:If you are traveling north to Crescent City or south into Humboldt, expect 30-minute traffic delays on Hwy 101 south of Crescent City, Del Norte County. For updated information visit: https://lastchancegrade.com/schedule

Wildfires:
After temporarily closing some California National Forests for public safety, the USDA Forest Service has announced the  Six Rivers National Forest in eastern Humboldt County has been re-opened.

As of September 12th, the Knob Fire burning in the vicinity of Willow Creek has been 100% contained.
If planning to travel on HWY 299, please check the CalTrans website for the most recent road conditions: https://roads.dot.ca.gov
