The Fortuna Chamber Annual Chili Cook-off is one of the many fun events that happen during Rodeo Week.

Over two dozen teams compete to win coveted trophies and bragging rights in the categories of People’s Choice Chili, Best Beef Chili, Best Professional Chili, Fortuna’s Best Chili, Rookie of the Year, and Fortuna’s Hottest Chili. More than 1,000 people fill Main Street from 9th to 12th Street to taste chili and listen to live music.

Contest starts at 5:00 pm. Winners announced at ~6:30 pm.
