It’s almost summertime, and that means it’s time for the Humboldt Folklife Society to show off all the amazingly talented musicians who make music here. It might sound cliché, but truly we are blessed by a disproportionate number of excellent musicians in our own backyard.

This year, we will be presenting once again the Humboldt Folklife Festival on July 25-29th 2023 (including a Barn Dance). Tickets go on sale Saturday July 1st at 12p. Go to Brown Paper Tickets

And we’re doing some new things. On July 23rd from 1-5p at Dell’Arte, we will be hosting THE FOLK SCHOOL, a full day of free music workshops to encourage even more people to make playing music a regular part of their lives. We plan to have classes on bluegrass guitar, banjo, ukulele, percussion and more!
