Course: Race will begin and end on Newton B. Drury Scenic Parkway at the intersection with the visitor center entrance road. Dogs are not allowed on park trails.

Directions: The parkway is ten miles long and can only be accessed from the south gate on this date only. The parkway will be closed to through vehicle traffic. Visitors should park vehicles south of the closure and park only in designated spaces parallel to the roadway and adjacent to Elk Prairie in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park. Please do not block the gate or park in lots reserved for visitor center or back country use.
The purpose of the Run in the Redwoods 5k Run is to raise funds for Redwood Parks Conservancy (RPC), a local nonprofit organization that supports educational and interpretive activities and oversees visitor centers in seven locations throughout Redwood National and State Parks. All proceeds from the run will benefit parks and public lands on California’s north coast.
