Phillips House Museum

Walk into a typical farmhouse of the mid - 1800s

The Arcata Historical Sites Society has created a mid-19th century residence, complete with lace curtains, fine china, quilts and newspapers. 

The Phillips House Museum, built in the Greek Revival style, is considered the oldest house in Arcata. Phillips House has been preserved by the Historical Sites Society of Arcata with the atmosphere of a typical farmhouse from Arcata's settlement period to the 1930s.

This living museum is open on Sunday from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and tours may be arranged by appointment.
