The dates for this event have already occurred, please check back again for new dates.

Enjoy Independence Day 2021 with celebrations all over Humboldt County

3rd of July Fireworks in Fortuna
The Fortuna Fireworks Festival Event has been canceled for 2021. But... that doesn’t mean we can’t light up the night sky. The fireworks show WILL GO ON in Fortuna on July 3rd.
We are keeping the location quiet to help everyone keep a social distance. We cannot have large groups gather so we are making the fireworks higher in the sky. They will be launched this year from an undisclosed location, so that they will be visible from your home or vehicle in the Fortuna City limits.

4th of July Eureka Fireworks
Fireworks Yes.  (but the festival is canceled for 2021)

Thankfully the restrictions have been lifted at this point but there was not enough time to pull together the festival event to the standards that everyone has come to expect and enjoy. Eureka Main Street is excited for the return of the 4th of July Festival next year, 2022!

The City of Eureka is planning to close Waterfront Drive and First Street beginning at 6 p.m. in preparations for the return of the 4th of July Fireworks. The fireworks show will start at 10pm over Humboldt Bay. Please remember NO \FIREWORKS OF ANY KIND are permitted in Old Town, and the laws will be strictly enforced. We want to keep this a safe and fun holiday for everyone. For more information please contact Eureka Main Street at 442-9054.
