Come join us at Newburg Park for a night of dazzling lights and booming fireworks. Get ready to experience a spectacle like no other as the sky lights up with vibrant colors and patterns. Bring your friends and family for a fun-filled evening under the stars. Don't miss out on this exciting event! It's going to be lit!

Fortuna invites the public to celebrate Independence Day a day early on July 3rd. This family friendly festival runs from 5:30 pm – 10:30 pm.
Come to the event hungry for dinner hosted by Smokin’ Joe’s BBQ and grab a half pound tri-tip sandwich, corn on the cob, chips and water for only $15 pay! BBQ slider meal or hot dog meal only $10. This is a no wait BBQ, just grab your plate and walk through the food line.
If Tri-Tip is not your thing, We are welcoming back some of your favorites on Food Truck Row in the Newburg parking lot. There you will find: The Patron Kitchen, Taqueria Martinez, Caps Food Shack, the Crazy Baker, Butter Cream Broom Stick, Sprinkles concessions and more!
Kids wristbands are $10 each for three hours of unlimited fun (5:30 pm to 8:30 pm) and includes 15 bounce houses, 3 mechanical bulls, petting zoos; clowns; balloon animals; and potato sack races. Returning to the line up is the rock wall, by the Girl Scouts, also included with the wristband! All kids purchasing wristbands must be always be accompanied by an adult and have a parent or guardian sign a liability waiver.
At 8:30 pm the kids activities wrap up for the evening and the dance party begins with DX3 Productions doing a light show and dance party until the fireworks start at dark around 10ish!
Everyone is encouraged to bring your own chairs, blankets, or sit in the bleachers.
Please be considerate and use the trash/recycling receptacles provided around the park. The event is put on by a small group of volunteers who have to stay clean after the crowd leaves, so your due diligence is appreciated!
