Day 1: San Francisco
San Francisco opens her Golden Gates beckoning you to “lose your heart.”

Day 2 & 3: Into Wine Country
The city is exciting, but there’s something refreshing about driving out of the bustle and into the open foothills of Wine Country. Unwind as you drive leisurely up Highway 101, also known as Redwood Highway.
Add a Day: Napa Valley is easy to get to and a great inclusion to any trip to California.

Day 4: Fort Bragg - Benbow
Today keep your eye out for the “Grandfather Tree”, at this point you’ll start entering what locals call the “Redwood Curtain”.

Day 5: Into the Woods
After breakfast begin today’s drive ready for exploring. Avenue of the Giants, the famed road scenic 31-mile drive among the redwoods, has been called the finest forest drive in the world.
Stop in The Victorian Village of Ferndale for lunch, a treat and a stroll.
Stay the night at the Victorian Inn or continue to Eureka for two nights at one of the many Lodging options.

Day 6: Relax, Northern California Style
Samoa Cookhouse and a Tour of the Humboldt Bay on the Madaket are a perfect way to begin the day. Afterwards quick jaunt to the Sequoia Park Zoo will be sure to light up visitors of any age. You can eat at the Zoo Café, or try one of the other Dining Options.
If you’re into craftsman art and history, a local must see is the Blue Ox Millworks.

Day 7:
Now onward North to Redwood National Park, Trees of Mystery and into the heart of Yurok Country.
Take a ride on the sky tram gondola at Trees of Mystery or head up and down the mighty Klamath on a Jet Boat Tour. Relax and enjoy local Salmon and Berries for a treat but keep your eyes open for O-mah, or Bigfoot as you may have heard him called.
Overnight in the Redwoods of Yurok Country.
Day 8: Portland, Oregon

Day 9 – 10: Seattle, Wa
