DAY 1Â EUREKA Â

*Visit the Humboldt Bay Maritime Museum, located next to the Cookhouse.Â
*Tour Blue Ox Millworks & Historic Park One X St., Eureka On the way to Old Town, check out the Carson Mansion on 2nd and "M" Street Explore Old Town Eureka Between 1st & 5th from C to M Streets
*Lunch break in Old Town
*Visit the Clarke Historical Museum 240 E St. Old bank building on corner of 2nd & "D" Sts. for the history of Humboldt County, with an impressive Native American wing exhibit.
*Cruise Humboldt Bay aboard the Madaket 75 minute narrated cruise runs mid-May thru October 7th. Foot of C Street on the boardwalk.
DAY 2Â FERNDALE, FORTUNA, SCOTIA Â
*Visit the Victorian Village of Ferndale, a living history museum of Victoriana virtually unchanged since the 1800's.
*The Ferndale Museum is located at the corner of Shaw & Third St.Â
*Fortuna Depot Museum Rohner Park Fortuna A former working train depot from 1893, the museum contains the history of the Eel River Valley. Â
*Scotia continues to be a company town. The story of how the redwood coast timber industry got its start is told in the Scotia Museum. 125 Main St. Open Memorial Day thru Labor Day.
DAY 3Â ARCATA, WILLOW CREEK Â
*In Arcata take the Victorian tour of Arcata.
*Go to the Phillip's House Museum.
*Then head east out of Arcata via scenic Hwy 299 north of Arcata to Willow Creek and visit the China Flat Museum home of Willow Creek's very own Bigfoot collection and foot casts.Â
*Head to Hoopa's Tribal Museumto view one of the finest collections of Hupa, Yurok, and Karuk artifacts in northern California
